Snagnets are a type of item that the ClueFinders use during their quest in The ClueFinders 3rd Grade Adventures: The Mystery of Mathra.
Snagnets are serpents made from ancient Numerian magnets. A snagnet resembles a series of linked horseshoe magnets with a serpent-like head at one end. Snagnets come in five colors: purple, green, red, blue, and gold.
Usage in the GameEdit
Snagnets are used to rebuild the ancient Numerian Mathra trap at the Bottomless Pits of Doom. Joni and Santiago must obtain Snagnets from the guardians of the ancient Numerian Lost City in order to stop the schemes of Fletcher Q. Limburger and rescue Joni's uncle and the trapped animals. Each of the differently colored snagnets can be obtained from one of the five chambers in the Lost City. Snagnets are then used to move bridge stones into place at the Bottomless Pits of Doom.
A minimum of 5 snagnets, one of each color, are required to complete the game. Depending on how many mistakes are made at the Bottomless Pits of Doom, more snagnets may need to be collected for completion. Snagnets are stored in the third pocket of Joni's backpack. The backpack can hold up to 6 snagnets of each color, for a total of 30 snagnets. In the game's practice mode, Joni's backpack always has a full supply of Snagnets.
